La Lanta Fine Art presents its first “Outsider Art” under the theme “French Fusion” by three self-taught artists.
“Outsider Art” is the term used in the art world since 1972 to describe art makers that have little or no contact with the institutions of the mainstream art world.
“French Fusion” Art Exhibition features 3 Bangkok based French art makers namely Laurence Causse-Parsley, Jean Claude Chambre, and Jean Francois Cheneau.
The “French Fusion” art exhibition is on display from Oct. 4 until Oct. 18. The opening reception is held on Oct. 4 at 7.00 pm.
“INDIAN STUDIO” exhibition features Ahmedabad’s top names and emerging artists including Arvind Patel, Aninda Varma, Kakoli Sen, Vipul Prajapati, Manish Modi, Jayesh Shukla, Bharat Patni, Bharati Prajapati, and Bansidhar Khatri
The opening reception will be organized on Oct. 25 at 7.00 pm. The exhibition will be on from Oct. 25 until Nov. 21, 2007.
A solo sculpture exhibition by Chainapa Leparjarn, a nationally recognized sculptor whose work received commendations from many prestigious institutions.
Chainapa will hold her 2006 exhibition at La Lanta Fine Art from Dec. 2, 2006 until January 12, 2007. The "Save My Soul" exhibition will feature 18 bronze sculptures under the concept wind and wave. In this concept, Chainapa compares the challenges in woman's life with strong force of nature such as tornados and tsunamis. Woman can retain her respectable life with strength and wisdom.
The exhibition will be presided over by Khun Sermkul Kunawong, a founder of Bangkok Sculpture Center at 5.00 p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2006 at La Lanta Fine Art.

A Night of Art at Colonnade promises to be a truly unique event as art will take the shape of many forms.
We will present the work of 3 budding Thai artists, Viroj Rattanajamjaroen, Chaiwat Kamfun and Manu Prasarnketh. Proceeds of this event will go to support Viroj's treatment for cancer and the paintings will remain on display at The Sukhothai’s Lobby Salon until December 7, 2006.
The paintings will be the perfect foil to Bangkok’s first cocktail degustation menu, created by Vietnamese-Danish Executive Chef Nam Quoc Nguyen.
The sit-down dinner will feature 8 courses, each accompanied by a cocktail created especially for the event.
