Cultural in Sync by Seven Inspirations

 La Lanta Fine Art presents the work of 7 fine art professors from Suphanburi College of Fine Art.
The love of art bonds this group together through their commitment to providing high quality art education to nurture new talent in Suphanburi province.
Each artist presents his/her own view of life into “Cultural in Sync”. The exhibition is an expression of their individual interpretations of the ordinary life of both human beings and animals using a medley of technical styles.

Please join us to preview 20 paintings in "Symphony of Thoughts", Lim Khim Katy's debut solo exhibition outside Vietnam from November 2 at 7.00 p.m.

In “Symphony of Thoughts,” La Lanta Fine Art will show a total of 20 paintings from Katy's new collection.

Apart from local people, Katy also paints landscapes and captures the daily life scenes of the working class in Vietnam. Her paintings embrace today’s challenges with strong social influences and often depict the people she has met who have inspired her.

A Night of Art at The Sukhothai

A Night of Art at The Sukhothai promises to be a truly unique event as art will take the shape of many forms.
We will present the work of 3 budding Thai artists, Viroj Rattanajamjaroen, Chaiwat Kamfun and Manu Prasarnketh. Proceeds of this event will go to support Viroj's treatment for cancer and the paintings will remain on display at The Sukhothai’s Lobby Salon until December 7, 2006 . The paintings will be the perfect foil to Bangkok’s first cocktail degustation menu, created by Vietnamese-Danish Executive Chef Nam Quoc Nguyen.
The sit-down dinner will feature 8 courses, each accompanied by a cocktail created especially for the event by 42 Below brand manager and master mixologist Paul Warden.

Art of the Month

This month presents the work of Chainapa Lepajarn (she is respectedly referred to as "arjarn" because of her long and established position in Thai art academic scene).
Arjarn Chainapa is moved by the stuggle some women experience in their lives and her work talks about women, their dignity and their inner strength.
The works featured here are from the "Wind and Wave" collection which presents a metaphor of natural disasters such as tornados and tsunamis - comparing the hardships they bring with the daily struggle experienced by some women.
Some larger pieces in this collection were commissioned by institutional collectors.

Arjarn Chainapa will display her "Wind and Wave" collection at La Lanta Fine Art in December 2006.
"Wind and Wave 1" was temporarity displayed on Patong beach, Phuket in the occasion of "1 Year Tsunami Remembrance."
