Save My Soul solo sculpture exhibition by Chainapa Lepajarn
December 2, 2006 - January 12, 2007

Featuring 18 abstract bronze sculptures, Save my Soul expresses the concept of woman’s dignity.

Chainapa Lepajarn
, a nationally recognized Thai sculptor, communicates her view in the form of analogy. She compares life's challenges with natural disasters such as tornados and tsunamis.

Chainapa believes many women have to go through difficult struggles in order to attain a respectable life. Many of them survive the crisis with graceful strength and wisdom.

The empty space at the heart of each sculpture plays a central role in depicting the form of a woman's figure. The bronze shape on the outside imitates the powerful elements in the form of a storm or wave. Chainapa combines space and mass to create absolute harmony in her work.

Mark your calendar for Save My Soul exhibition opening on Dec. 2 at 5.00 p.m. at La Lanta Fine Art.

The exhibition will be presided over by Khun Sermkul Kunawong, a founder of Bangkok Sculpture Center.

Please let us know if you would like to receive an invitation to the opening of Save My Soul.
