The INTERIOR
Photographic exhibition by Rick Martin
Showing now until Mar. 31, 2007 at La Lanta Fine Art

The INTERIOR exhibition by Rick Martin is a result of two years work. The artwork shows curiousity and interest in architectural interiors of mostly small spaces in major cities in Asia.

"In The INTERIOR I pay a great deal of attention to the layers, the complexity of space. In Thailand I try to capture places that combine religious belief with everything else," says Rick.

An outstanding example is in the details he shot in a tyre shop. Beyond the rubber there's a shrine, a desk, a portrait of H.M. the King. He says he's never seen this kind of visual complexity outside of Thailand. (from Martin's recent interview with The Nation)

The exhibition is currently on display at La Lanta Fine Art until the end of April. Click here for a printable map.

Collage and Colors
Apr. 1 - 30, 2007
at La Lanta Fine Art

This month exhibition features a melting pot of young artists’ work. All pieces speak loudly in the surrounds of iconic, surreal, and abstract art.

A mixture of techniques is all out to impress; from glittering mirror fragments to glass sculptures and jewelry.

Some hint erotic. Some hint folk. Some hint urban. All are for viewers to enjoy.

Collage and Colors exhibition will be on show at La Lanta Fine Art from Apr. 1 until Apr. 30.
