|
Some reviews from art critics:
“Rick Martin’s exhibition entitled IRWIN HOTEL… conveys a melancholy mood and triggers allusions to personal and universal narratives. Seeking that space in between the local now of a particular geography and the ineffable space in the psyche is the work of these images.”
Janice Lally, ASIAN ART NEWS July / August 2000
“Martin empties out the clutter, gracefully revealing the discreet charm of the physical space and the details anchoring the ( Mido ) cafe’s identity.”
Cid Reyes, TODAY, 10 th June 2003 Manila
Rick Martin will organize his next solo exhibition TheINTERIOR at La Lanta Fine Art in March 2007. |
