Some extraction from the show’s catalog on "Printmaking"
One cannot conveniently assume that the art of printmaking is relatively easy for art audience to comprehend. To execute the concept of the artwork, printmaking demands unique technical skills, creativity, and relentless experiments.
|
| |
Printmaking comes in different forms such as etching, lithograph, silkscreen and woodcut. To produce a good piece, all of them require the stringent fundamentals of delicacy, careful planning, thorough experiments and painstaking patience. Though printmaking has revolutionized to ride the wave of modern technology, its intricate character continues to be appealing and is highly appreciated.
