Mind Space : April 21 until May 9

For the next 2 weeks we will be featuring the works by 2 up-and-coming Southeast Asian artists; Indonesian Agung Yuliansyah and Thai Suparirk Kanitwaranun.

Selections of symbolic visuals will be on display in “MIND SPACE” exhibition.

Both artists examine the cognitive response of one’s mind to the surrounding environment.

The series of canvases and mixed media on wood represents the phenomena of the mind through the use of intense colors, layers of expressive lines, and textural contrast.

Explicitly non-representational, the artworks point the viewer to appreciate the emergence of subconscious mysteries and its imperative value in one’s existence.

The show will be on from April 21 to May 9.

Pitch Tangpun in Glasgow Art Fair

Pitch Tangpun’s artwork will be on show to more than 15,000 art enthusiasts in the 14th Glasgow Art Fair 2009 from April 23 to 26.

Recognized as one of the most prestigious art fairs in the UK outside of London, the fair presents a wide range of media from established artists to emerging new talent.
