'TOY STORIES' features a series of mixed media as combination of oil and acid, silk screened on brass plates.

Pitch Tangpun found his inspiration from old toys that his father bought for him when he was young. The compositions of the object together with its scale render layers of stories beyond its visual cue. The image of toy was intricately painted on a bed of tiled square brass plates. The artist carefully silk-screens the brass with images from his childhood memory; his friends, his brother, his mother, his father, and of course himself.

On viewing Pitch Tangpun's artwork, one can't help but reflecting on own childhood memory triggered by the interlay of colorful toy object on subtly screened images from the past.
